About
Josie Jo is an artist of many forms. From dance, photography, her love for interior decorating and event decor, to floral design, Josie has always loved creating with her hands, but when it comes to circus arts, nothing else compares.
In 2015, she took her first aerial class with Angels Entertainment and never turned back. She expanded her training as an aerialist under industry leaders. Her primary discipline as an aerialist is the aerial hoop . Her secondary disciplines are straps, duo straps, aerial silks, and hammock.
In 2017, she traveled to boost her aerial artistry to Costco Rica for a retreat with Sweet Retreats by Kerri Kresinski at Airborne Arts, and to Colorado for an aerial hoop workshop with Elsie Smith, former Cirque du Soleil artist, for the Annual Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance Festival in 2019.
As she grew into the Miami flow community, she extended her skills and began fire dancing, as well as fire eating and breathing. Josie has trained with professionals such as, UK's Shade Flamewater and Lior Littman. Her daring performances leaves the audience in awe as she lights up the stage.
Josie's love for circus and performing arts is what started Josie Jo Productions. She has worked professionally for the community, local events, bars/restaurants and venues all over South Florida, for holidays, birthdays, weddings, showcases and cabarets. She has been featured in Les Ailes Du Desir's Christmas Classics Holiday Showcase in 2021. She currently has a n annual residency in St. Croix, USVI and was recently featured in Blush Cabaret at The Moon in Wynwood in 2024.
Josie's goals are to travel and expand her knowledge and experience circus internationally. Her passion to entertain and inspire, will leave you with an unforgettable experience. She was born to share her infectious energy and talent with the world.
